I am a freelance Pro Audio Engineer living in Atlanta, GA.  I have ten years of experience in live sound, location and studio recording.

    I graduated (summer '05) from Georgia State University with a 3.8 GPA in the field of Music Technology.  As an undergraduate I was awarded the honor of presidential scholar, which is an integrated scholarship and assistantship.  My major included a concentration in violin.  I studied under the guidance of Dr. Robert Scott Thompson (MTM) and Dr. Nancy Schecter (violin).

    As a music major, I also play electric bass and guitar.  In school I participated in a variety of performing ensembles including the symphony and opera orchestras, string quartets, jazz combos, and improv groups.

    Because of my background in music, I strive as an engineer to make the technology transparent.  My career goals in the music industry are to work with talented musicians to make great music that sounds great.  In other avenues and events, I want the content to take center stage.  I enjoy working in an environment where I can continue learning and expanding my knowledge of new gear, software, and mixing techniques.
